1. Scope and responsible party
This Privacy Policy applies to the Flight Duty Pro mobile application, its public website, and support communications. “We,” “us,” and “our” mean Online Dev USA, the publisher of Flight Duty Pro.
2. Information handled by the app
Information you enter
Flight Duty Pro may process duty and schedule details you choose to enter, such as report and release times, flight or trip references, time zones, rest periods, notes, and app preferences. In the current release, this information remains on your device and is not sent to an Online Dev USA user-account server unless you choose a hosted feature such as a private schedule link or Crew Room.
Apple platform information
Apple may process App Store download records, aggregated usage information, and diagnostic information under your Apple settings and Apple’s terms. We may receive aggregated metrics or diagnostic reports from Apple.
Support information
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information, attachments, and technical details you choose to include. Support is optional. Please do not include sensitive or confidential operational material that is not needed to resolve the request.
3. Website information
This website does not use behavioral advertising or a marketing analytics tag. Like most hosted websites, infrastructure providers may automatically process limited request information such as IP address, browser type, requested page, timestamp, and security events to deliver and protect the service.
Temporary Crew Rooms
If you create or join a Crew Room, we process the room name, your chosen display name and crew role, whether you joined from the FDP app or web, messages, timestamps, hashed participant and membership credentials, rules acceptance, block relationships, and any web push subscription or app device token you enable. We also use limited request information for rate limits and service protection. Anyone holding the room’s private invitation link can join until invitations are locked or replaced. Do not share sensitive personal, security, medical, or official operational information in a Crew Room.
Crew Room connections are encrypted in transit, but the first release is not end-to-end encrypted. Room information is therefore processed by our hosting infrastructure to deliver messages and notifications. Notifications use a generic alert and do not include message text. We do not routinely read Crew Room conversations. If you submit a report, we store the category, optional explanation, room and participant IDs, timestamp, and a snapshot of the reported message when applicable. Reports enter a restricted moderation queue; they do not contain room access credentials or participant email addresses.
Private schedule links
If you create a private schedule link, the app encrypts the selected schedule range on your device before upload. We process the encrypted payload, expiration and update timestamps, hashed invitation and management credentials, and limited request information used for rate limits and service protection. The decryption key is placed after the fragment marker in the link and is not sent to our server by the browser. We therefore cannot read the stored schedule payload.
Anyone who receives the complete private link can decrypt and view the selected schedule. Hotel and transportation summaries are excluded by default and included only when the sender chooses that option. Crew contact details, employee identifiers, pay, and legality calculations are not included in a private schedule link.
Optional Connections profile
You may optionally use Sign in with Apple to create a Flight Duty Pro friends profile. We verify Apple’s identity token and store a protected identifier derived from Apple’s stable user identifier. We do not store your Apple password or Apple email address. Your profile may include the display name, profile photo, crew role, company, and base airport you choose to provide. A signed-in session credential is stored in your device Keychain; only a protected version is stored on our server.
Company Discover is optional and off by default. If you turn it on for a selected company, other signed-in people who selected that same company may find your name and the profile details you chose to show. Company selection and profile details are provided by users and are not employment verification. You can turn Discover off or limit your visible photo, role, and base at any time.
You can also create a private profile invitation link and send it to someone you choose. The recipient must sign in before sending a connection request, and every request still requires approval. You can replace your invitation link to invalidate an earlier one. A friendship does not automatically share either person’s schedule, roster, location, contact list, Crew Rooms, or Raido information.
Approved friends can exchange direct messages, quick requests, and private schedule links. Recent conversations may also be cached on each person’s device for offline viewing. Messages are processed by our hosting service for delivery, abuse prevention, blocking, and reporting. Profile photos are stored separately from roster data.
Family Mode
Family Mode uses the same optional account, friendship, messaging, and private schedule-sharing services. A family member only receives information that a crew member chooses to share. Family Mode does not provide access to pay, legality, crew contacts, company notes, medical information, passports, documents, private Crew Rooms, or a company roster account. The sender may end schedule access at any time.

- Comply with applicable law and enforce our terms.
We do not use Flight Duty Pro information for cross-app tracking, do not sell or rent personal information, and do not share it for third-party behavioral advertising.
5. Sharing and service providers
We may disclose information only as needed to providers that operate the website or email support, to Apple for App Store platform functions, to professional advisers under confidentiality duties, or when required to comply with law or protect rights and safety. Crew Room hosting and push-notification providers process the minimum information needed to deliver those features. Providers may process information only for the service they perform and are expected to protect it consistently with this policy.
6. Storage, retention, and deletion
App records stored on your device remain there until you delete them, reset app data, or delete the app. Device backups or exported files are controlled separately through your Apple account, device, or the destination you selected. We retain support correspondence only as long as reasonably necessary to answer the request, maintain service history, protect users, and meet legal obligations. Hosting security records are retained for the period needed to operate and secure the site.
A Crew Room stops accepting messages 12 hours after its scheduled trip end, unless its creator closes or extends it. Expired rooms become inaccessible immediately, and ordinary messages, notification subscriptions, and membership records are deleted by automated cleanup shortly afterward. A creator may close a room early. When a safety report exists, only the submitted report, reported-message snapshot, and the minimum related room and participant identifiers are retained for up to 30 days, unless longer retention is required for an active legal or safety matter. The app may keep a room membership pass in the device Keychain so the room reopens without another join step. That pass stops working when the room expires, closes, or is revoked and can be cleared with the app’s local data controls.
A private schedule link is deleted after it expires or is ended from the creating device. Active links are refreshed only while the app can publish a changed local schedule. The device Keychain stores the management credential and decryption key so you can update, share, or end the link. Clearing local data attempts to end active links and removes those local credentials; an unreachable link expires on its scheduled date.
An optional friends profile, direct messages, and its approved or pending friend records remain until you delete the profile in Flight Duty Pro or ask us to delete it. Signing out or clearing local app data removes the session from that device but does not by itself delete the server-held profile. You can remove messages you sent, block or report another person, and remove a friend. Deleting the profile removes its photo, direct messages, sessions, and friend records. A report and its minimum necessary evidence may remain for up to 90 days while it is reviewed.
See Data and Account Deletion for instructions. Where retention is legally required, we will keep only the required information for the required period.
7. Your choices and rights
You can choose what schedule information to enter, remove app records, decline optional support, manage Apple analytics and backup settings, disable website or app notifications in device settings, report or block a Crew Room participant across that room’s app and web sessions, unblock participants from room safety controls, clear local Crew Room access, leave an active room, end a private schedule link, disable Connections discovery, decline or remove a connection, delete your optional Connections profile, and delete the app. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a portable copy of personal information we control, and to appeal or complain to a data-protection authority.
To make a request, email support@onlinedevusa.com. We may need to verify the request and cannot access records that exist only on your device.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Protect your device with a passcode, keep iOS current, and review exports before sharing them.
9. Children
Flight Duty Pro is intended for professional flight operations and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through a developer-hosted account.
10. International processing and changes
Online services and providers may process information in the United States and other locations where they operate, subject to appropriate protections required by law. We may update this policy as the product changes. The effective date above shows the latest revision; material changes will be communicated through the site or app when appropriate.
